Surely one of the few times that Bush has not pissed on the environment. Trying to make up for Alaska oil drilling? Good work anyway.

Now all he has to do is stop his fellow countrymen from using 25% of the worlds resources, sign up to kyoto and fund some alternative energy schemes.
Dis you know that the sun would give us enough energy(worldwide)in 15 minutes to run the world total energy use for an hour?its true.

Now, if we could just find a way to harness as much of that power as in a more efficient way than we do now...

15 milliseconds of the suns energy would vaporise the earth

But dont let physics get in the way of ecological politics.

I dunno, govt issues solar panels,
on second thoughts probably best not to give them too much responsibility.
You invent something-ill just sit here on my computer with my lights on and criticise everyone for using too much energy(i am such a hypocrit)

I mean sunlight entering the atmosphere, not that we should go to the sun and collect some energy in a big space ship and bring it back.I am thankfully not quite that naive.

OK...are you suggesting that we shade one quarter of the planet in 100% efficient solar energy collecting devices to provide 100% of the energy needs?
