pparently there was a time when you were either a mod, or a rocker. Now it seems your either a goth or an emo. I sort have trouble seperating the pairs from each other, could somebody please tell me the differences between goths and emos.

Mods as in moderators?

Uh...they're not exactly well-defined terms. Sometimes they overlap.

A NED is a Non Educated Delinquent. I think that's more of a Scottish coinage than anything else.

As for Goths and Emos...well I'm not so angered by them as I am by chavs/neds. I think Emos are quite funny in their sensitivity...but I think that they're not just the primary youth subcultures that are going about; they're just flavour of the month at the present.

im 20 and i have a job. lol in others words when people who get bored because they have nothing to do and then start to get lazy have names for each other therefore these expresions are bought up by lazy bored people who dont pay tax or vote lol! that's not a very nice point of view i just cant stand people who put people in Groups Your Protestant Your Catholic, dosnt matter who you are aslong as you know who you are is that counts! Your Black Your White Your Boy Your Girl, i was at a party once and these 10 year olds who obviosly have no understanding of anything were kicking a ball at my car which i paid for and insuraned out of the money I earned! so i had to move it, One said to me "thats what you get for being a Greebo" i started to laugh at him, me wearing a shirt and jeans ? his Understanding from them was that he was very un-educated in the Subject of Other people.! pretty Bad education system if people are shouting out to people who they dont know and calling them things??? it's like calling Hitler a Democrat?

I don't think Emos or Goths are the new Mods and Rockers.

Namely because the stereotype of Mods and Rockers is having massive brawls in south coast ports, but I cannot see the stereotypical Emo, nor ones I know, doing such things without getting absolutely murdered.

Like members of almost any other group, Goths have the capacity to be great friends and human beings in general.
Emos are… taxing to be around.

Emos are funny to watch, but I find them incredibly annoying at times.

I am indeed Scottish. And it's not my war, as I said, the Sonderlingtruppen remain engaged against chavs at this time. But don't think you can escape, emo scum!

Well if I get in on this war before they run away to start writing songs they'll write about me. And then I can put on my CV "Emos still sing songs about me from 'The War on Emo'"

Mods n Rockers were meant to clash. I've never seen a goth fight an emo.

I'd say nowadays its more townies ('chavs' for people who have only been aware of their existance since the daily mail started reporting about them) and grebs doing the fighting.

Goths and emos sort of share ancestory(emos being very watered down goths)(very). I'm pretty sure Mods and Rockers were like apples and bricks.

Heh Shit naa Goths and Emos are both on the same side of the fence, can both be found hanging at the same clubs.

For Modern mods and Rockers, try goths/emos and Chavs.

Like mods and rockers it is just a we listen to differant music than you, and why do you listen to that shit, it all sounds the same blah blah blah baarrghh! type of thing. And when all them have grown up, their kids will be called summit else, but it will all still be down to we listen to differant music, how can you listen to that shit it all sounds the same.
