Need Help With Off-The-Wall Wedding Songs

What songs would you play at a dark/gothic/vampire style wedding?
I'm thinking along the lines of black/doom metal; gloomy lyrics, dark musical arrangements, and deep baritone voices. My Dying Bride & Cradle of Filth are the first that come to mind, however, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, & Joy Division type stuff is not out of the question! Any recommendations?

Gothic weddings are so overdone...

I say go with something noone would ever expect and go for the shock and appall angle:

Get An Ugly Girl To Marry You
Harry Belafonte

Chorus:
If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life,
Never make a pretty woman your wife.
So from my personal point of view,
Get an ugly girl to marry you.

Chorus

A pretty woman makes her husband look small,
And very often causes his downfall.
As soon as he marries her, then she starts,
To do the things that will break his heart.

But if you make an ugly woman your wife,
You'll be happy for the rest of your life.
An ugly woman cooks meals all the time,
She'll always give you peace of mind.

Chorus

Don't let your friends say you have no taste,
Go ahead and marry anyway.
Her face is ugly, her eyes don't no match.
Take it from me, she's a better catch.

Chorus

Say, man?
Hey baby!
I saw your wife the other day.
Yeah?
Yeah, and she's ugly.
Yeah, she's ugly, but she sure can cook, baby!
Yeah, alright.
Unfortunately, she has herpes.
That's a shame, baby.
Yeah, baby.

Chorus x3

Hand of doom by Black Sabbath or N.O. by Kyuss.
Maybe the last one is more of a divorce song..

I'm pretty sure I dislike all bands mentioned...

Get Opeth, they kick ass, and they have a gloomy tone.

I'm trying for "hauntingly romantic"! "Silent Dance" by My Dying Bride seems to be a step in the right direction! Thing is, I need a playlist; enough to last the duration of the reception!

Sorry, that realm of music is not exactly my field.

Although Richard Cheese's cover of "Down with the Sickness" gives you that quality lounge music feel, with the lyrics to match the rest.

I might recommend for sheer dark-sound, Shostakovitch's "Chamber Symphony in C Minor, Op. 110a: Allegro Molto". Gives a sound of desperation, and has been ripped off of by virtually every horror movie composer ever.

The obvious one is Black No. 1 by Type O Negative. It's exactly the tone you want.

Of course it's not gothic, but it's a great cover. I far prefer it over the original version by Disturbed.

The upbeat lounge music style of Cheese is immensely amusing.

Bauhaus' Bela Lugosi's Dead

White on white translucent black capes
Back on the rack
Bela Lugosi's dead
The bats have left the bell tower
The victims have been bled
Red velvet lines the black box
Bela Lugosi's dead
Undead undead undead
The virginal brides file past his tomb
Strewn with time's dead flowers
Bereft in deathly bloom
Alone in a darkened room
The count
Bela Logosi's dead
Undead undead undead

Thanks!!! I've found an entire site devoted to "dark" classical! So far, everything I've downloaded in this genre is pretty much perfect! Oh, and off the "dark" classical subject for a second, Seraphim Shock is cool too! I had forgotten about them but they fit the mood fairly well!

No idea why anyone would want to be depressed at a wedding, but you could always use some polka for that.
