Would you swap a lamb cutlet for a sausage?

this thread is a result of a disagreement with a waitress this evening.
the chef advised that they were out of lamb cutlets but i could have a sausage as replacement.

Having tried to explain that the offer sucked I orderered the rack of lamb

eh!?!?

I'd probably rather have a sausage than a lamb cutlet. Although it depends on what sort of sausage it is. I might prefer neither.

Tough call.

I don't eat lamb, but British sausage sucks pretty bad.....

Lamb cutlet. Sausages are for peasants...and for Germans.

Especially a German one. ;) But that's an entirely different kind of meat altogether.
