graphic novels are acceptable, i was goping to put league of extrodinary gentlemen on here but forgot.
The only ones I've seen all of so far are the Spiderman movies. I saw the first two X-men, which I enjoyed, but I haven't bothered with the third since I heard the awful reports. I voted on Hellboy because I heard that was the worst. Does hearsay count?

the spiderman films are a close second of the worst, all the money and time put into them, and they're nothing but 2 hour sap fests with some fighting in between. just terrible. raimi can do so much better.

I actually thought it was done very well. Most of what was changed seemed to be a "bring it into the 21st century" kind of thing, and Evey was a much more likeable character. The only scene removed that I would have left in was the breakup with Justice.

How familiar are you with Spiderman? I ask because Raimi has struck me as immensely faithful to the "sappy" Peter Parker character, a character who spends most of his time agonizing about MJ and doing the right thing.
I'm going to have to second the Batman and Robin nod, because I will never forgive or forget the long close-up of George Clooney's ass or the nipples on his Bat armor.

Damn, you beat me to it. The Spidey movies held to the comics I've been reading for years extremely well IMO.
I never saw the Clooney Batman, though I never heard anything worth seeing it for either. I remember hearing though, that Clooney actually apologized to Batman fans for that movie. Sorta like Will Smith did for Wild, Wild, West.
I liked V for Vendetta. Hugo Weaving did a damned fine job I thought. Read parts of the comic, liked the movie better.

Catwoman.
That was the biggest mistake ever made.
First of all, Catwoman ain't black (Even though after 1966's Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether there was Eartha Kitt in 1967).
Then we already have a great Catwoman, namely Michelle Pfeiffer
And Halle Berry didn't really do herself a favor - after all, she already plays one of the strongest and coolest Comic Heros, namely Storm. That's just not how it works.

Did you see The Hulk movie? I was actually pleasantly surprised.
Also whoever said that V for Vendetta sucked needs a spanking.
didn't see Crow, V for vendetta
Did see but didn't read the Comics: Hellboy, MIB
Didn't see but read the comics: Fantastic 4, Daredevil, Punnisher, Captain America
Did See and Did Read the comics: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Elecktra, X-Men, Hulk, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Conan, Red Sonja
so I can only comment on catagory 4 and I really didn't like Hulk. followed by TMNT.
Elecktra was disappointing, never cared for Superman, so any film would be an improvement. Batman was so-so. Conan and Red Sonja I liked. X-men, didn't mind the changes they made, but other than that, it was ok.

Captian America died for your sins. Also, the last two Supermen sucked.
My brain protects me from that movie(Captain America). I know I've seen it but I can't rememer any of it.
I'm afraid of Ghost Rider because, well, I'm an old school fan from way back (Johnny Blaze way back-not so far back that he's a ghost cowboy...) so I'm obviously going to be hard to please, but then Cage-who campaigned for the role and is a fan himself, so he says (already had two Ghost Rider choppers), has what I think is a shitty take on the film.
He says he gets this curse from the devil and turns it around and uses it for good. Bullshit, that's Spawn. Blaze is essentially learning a lesson of 'careful what you wish for.' He deals with Mephastopholes so that his unlcle won't die of cancer so he dies in a motorcyle crash. He wants vengence and is bound together with the spirit of vengence. The more he lets that take control and enact that vengence the more the vengence is in control overall. It is a caution, that vengence can consume you and that it's consequences may be too much to bare. Such a tale, now, is very needed. But instead they're going to make Spawn on a motorcycle. Lame.
