Your Newest Food Adaptations?
What are the newest foods, toppings or condiments have you adapted to recently? Perhaps you finally had the nerve to apply relish to your hot dog, maybe that odd seasoning sitting in the back of your cupboard really isn't so bad, sushi isn't as bad as you had once thought? Since I highly doubt everyone loves every single type of food and its toppings, have you tried anything new lately and started to enjoy it?
My newest is ketchup on a hamburger. I always thought it was rather gross to mix the two, I have no idea why, I put ketchup on a hotdog and eat meatloaf - just a thing ticked into my brain. Anyways, I was at a friend's house and the burgers were so dry it was like eating cardboard so I decided to grab the only condiment I wasn't afraid of, being ketchup and plopped it on. When I tasted it, it wasn't bad, in fact, it was really good. Using this technique I managed to down two of the massive meat monsters. So when I had hamburgers last Friday, I decided to do it again, wonderful, it really brings out the texture of the meat more.
So, what have you discovered lately in the food world?

...Cheese...sloppy joe...turkey burger?
Swiss Cheese. It is one of those things I tried as a child and thought truly disgusting "tastes and smells how you would think feet would", but I have been building a tolerance, and will now eat it on a sandwich, quite yummy in that fashion, although I would not sit down and eat a big block of Swiss or anything... Thats about as risky as I have gotten recently with my food...

I opened a bottle of sauternes, nothing particularly special, but jesus god its good.
Salad cream. Not the most exciting thing in the world but I finally decided to try it again 10 years after I first did and I say mmmm. However I will never ever drink coffee. The last time I did (14 years) I threw up. That was my first and last time.

i made sheesh kababs tonight they were yummy. will definitely make them again, a much more interesting way of enjoying meats than a steak, chop or other such cut. my other recent adaptation is not having chips anymore, i've found they make me ill for days on end, and i love chips, it's so depressing:(
you're scared of condiments?
I'm scared of Mustard, Horse Radish and Relish.

Liasia']Horse radish ruins food.
I know a lot of people who are addicted to using it on their burgers.
It's just so, powerful, it seems like over-kill.

Horseradish is wonderful stuff. You have to use it in moderation, though.
