Cute or disgusting? Round 4 (56K PIC WARNING!!!!!!!!)

Its that time again, time for Cute or Disgusting? Round 4. And that means yes i have another mouse, I was at the evil pet smart again, and low and behold in the mouse cage, alone lies bandit
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b220/DStudios1/The%20Mice/P5290187.jpg
unlike the picture here, her fur was matted, and she was sick. now this is the 2nd time in a row i've been to this place and there has been a lone, sick mouse left in the case. so of course i take her home, and painstakingly (and at the expense of massive amounts of squeaking) managed to cut out all the mats with a small pair of scissors without hurting the mouse. (took about 20 minutes, shes fuckin fast!)
bandit its the 4th edition to the small mice colony im starting here.
the other 3 (in age order) are
Squeaky:

Moe:

...and Snowflake: The Insane

so what do you guys think? cute or disgusting?

I still remember when I had a mouse called "Freddy". It lived to become a Methusalem, 3 1/2 years old.

Neither? Definately not digusting, but then I don't find many things cute. How do mice differ rats (apart from size)? I remember that rats are supposed to be fairly clever.
And how long do mice live for? At the rate your saving them it sounds like you might have dedicated half your house to them within the year.

rats from what i've read are supposed to be clever, then again so are mice, those little bastards are always trying to find a way to get loose, clever little fellows, but trouble makers nonetheless.
And how long do mice live for? At the rate your saving them it sounds like you might have dedicated half your house to them within the year.
mice live i think about 3-4 years, and you're right i'll be over run if i keep it up, but i keep expanding the compound so they have plenty of room.
when i get off work ill get a pic of it and post it here.

does look like a ferret. and she lives up to her name, she steals food, bedding, etc. constantly from the other mice, and when i am hand feeding as well.
she doesn't bite though, none of them do, except snowflake, but their bites, unlike moose bites arent very nasty.

I'll have to see if I can dig up a pic of my parent's dog Maverick, as i don;t have any pets of my own. In addition to be a cute black Lab/Malamute mix, Mav helped me get over my phobia of dogs and also saved my mothers life when she fell and broke her ankle in the snow. He get's his favorite Japanese dried squid strips (think squid jerky) everytime I'm home. :D

they're a lot more tame than i would have expected them to be, besides bandits sporadic breakout attempts, none of the others have tried to escape.
they just eat, play and do their thing. i put squeaky on my hat sometimes and she runs in circles as i walk around

This is Jasmine (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Jasmine_2.jpg). And this is Jasmine after getting in a fight (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Jasmine_1.jpg) with a maurding tom cat. She beat the tom cat up quite bad, and all she got was those deep scratches on the back of the neck. Still had to take her to the vet though. :(
This is Rita (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Rita_2.jpg). Rita is the complete opposite of Jasmine. She is the personification of docile. Also, I swear she won't anything unless she's seen it come out of a tin.
This is Splodge (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Splodge_1.jpg). She is a scheming maniac. No place is safe to hide meat from this cat. We thought letting the remanents of a chicken cool down inside a cast iron pot with a lid on would be safe. Nope, she just pushed the pot off the kitchen surface. As we're all scramblng down to the kitchen to see what has happened we see a streak of fur rush by. We're just so glad she doesn't have opposable thumbs. Oh, and here (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Splodge_2.jpg) she is suddenly deciding I warrant more attention than passers-by.
This is Miranda with camera flash in her eyes (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Miranda_1.jpg). Here (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Miranda_2.jpg) she has decided not to co-operate with me after having temporarily being blind by me. Either that or between the camera flash and her cataracts she can't see me. Finally (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h28/jackheh/Miranda_4.jpg) she decides to trust me once more and I get a picture of her looking at me without camera flash in her eyes. We orignally got her as a mouser... and at that she was very adept. Got rid of all the mice in our house in about a week, and then proceded to start swat flies out of the air and de-bird the garden. She was a rescue cat and I don't think she ever got over her previous owners.
*sighs*
I miss her quite a lot. She finally, having been getting much worse over the last few years, died over the winter. She was slightly older than I am now - a few months 21. At least she had a good 18 years with us. :)
