The only thing even vaguely approaching a "crisis" is the fact that the legislature will probably end up passing some kind of ill-conceived, incompetent legislation to "fix what ain't broken."

The "illegal immigration crisis" has been manufactured for politics and to shore up poll numbers and stir up "the base" before the mid term elections.

And for that matter, why don't we just abolish immigration laws and citizenship all together. Then we can let anyone come and go as they please. We could just get rid of the concept of borders and 'law' completely.

But seriously, we should restrict immigration against Mexicans, since the majority of illegal immigrants come into the United States legally on tourist visas and just don't go home. Then we should take off the restrictions against other countries, like China. Its already unfair that we have more harsh immigration laws against nations like China rather than nations like Mexico, when the immigration problem is from Mexico. Release the restrictions on legitimate overseas immigration and tighten immigration laws regarding problem states.

Im from Arizona, and the illegals aren't the problem. The problem is the coyotes who cram 35 into a 5 person car and then proceed to roll them over going at 95mph on the highway [not exagurating]. Not only are illegal immigrnat killed, but innocent people suffer. A crash is a level one trauma. By law, they must be taken by helicopter/ambulance to a level one trauma center. The nearest is Tucson, which is where i live. They preform the opertaion or whatever, then the illegals go back to mexico and do it again tommorow.

But the issue is that they have no insurace. So the helis, the ambulances, and teh hospitals get no money for a sevral thousand dollar operation. So then it costs a lot for Citizens to get health care, and no new centers can be opened. That doesn't bother rich people, but Tucson is full of poverty and the like, and then they cant get medical treatment. Thats my issue.

Or you could just send the US Congress on an all-expenses paid trip to Tijuana. Theyd be good for mine clearing too.

If an illegal drives someone's car, take the car away. If an illegal works somewhere, take that away, if an illegal lives in someone's house, then take THAT away. Not that it's easy to locate illegals, but it would sure deter people from harboring them.
