I have a question, in all seriousness.

Is severe anal bleeding every time I poop something I really really need to get looked at now, or can it wait 'till Aug 24th when I have health insurence again?

It happened for like a week, then stopped for a couple of weeks, and just started again today. The beginning seems to line up with a night of drinking anything more the one or two drinks. What does that mean.

I'm kinda scared, it is copious amounts of blood.

Back in Dublin I had damaged something in my butt by passing a really constipated log, which bleed for a few days. Could I have just reopened that?

If you have any knowledge or advice, it's be much appreciated.

Do you have Hemorrhoids?
Is the blood a light red, i.e. fresh blood? Or is dark, mayhaps even congealed, i.e. old blood?
Do you drink alcohol in large amounts, or regularly?
The starting incident may have been a rupture in an already weaking vein.


In any case, better go and see a doc.

My only advice is to find somewhere better than NSG to get advice. That and see a doctor.

Fecal matter + open wound = infection.

Untreated infection = several really bad possibilities, including death, gangrene, fevers, much pain and such.

I can't exactly cite any personal experience on the issue, but your best bet is to go to the doctor.

Beyond that, bleeding is the sign of a pretty severe problem anyways.

It might cost a lot because you don't have health insurance, but it can indictive of some very serious and fatal medical conditions/diseases.

I think the mods banned these kind of threads for legal reasons after somebody recommended hemlock as a natural anti-biotic.

If the blood is bright red, you have probably just reopened the earlier tear. Try to eat very soft foods and drink lots and lots of water. This could also be due to hemorrhoids. Even if this is the case, you should still see a doctor if it continues for more than a week.

If the blood is very dark, or looks a lot like tar, you've most likely got a more serious problem. Do NOT wait until August!

For fuck sake man! Get to a doctor! Copious bleeding is never a good thing.

It's definatly fresh blood. But it's coensidance with a night of moderate drinking makes me afraid it's some sort of stomach or intestine problem that alcohol agitates.
