It seems a little silly and perhaps a little ridiculous that my post-grad degree is in the same catagory (on this poll) as Masters, much less Ph. Ds...

It qualifies in that it is a degree that you get post-graduation...

I did this poll a while ago and made it public. You can see who claims what and some things are hard to fake. I actually felt it inhanced the honesty. But I guess that can be argued. Most of the people who will poll up are the ones with the higher degrees just to pat themselves on the back. Gotta get something out of it...

I did a public poll on another issue, and noticed that approximately 1/3 of the people who voted had zero posts. It gave me the impression that people were voting with their other names to weigh the poll down, or make it appear in favor of a certain issue.

Although, that poll was quite a bit different than this one. I could see why people would feel a need to weigh the previous one down to support their agenda, but wouldn't feel a need to do so with this type of poll. In any case, it should be interesting to see how it turns out.

Heh, I graduated from high school in 2003. I spent three semesters at Bennington College as a Japanese major, a summer semester at Freie Universität studying German, a semester off to rethink plans, two semesters at Wittenberg University as an East Asian Studies major for one semester and a History major and French minor for the second semester, and now I'm transferring again, but this time to Belmont University, which is about twenty minutes from my house. I'll be a Nursing student.

Some do that. It doesn't work like that in med school, though, as you get an MD and then, well, work. PhD in medicine is all about research, and that isn't done as a part of some schooling, but as a job...

Ah I see. I guess it would just fall under 'postgrad' then, even though if you get a PhD, undergrad is fk all of the process..

My college at my university allowed me to select a BA or BS. The difference was more foreign language and a few more English classes under a BA or more math a few extra science courses for a BS. I was orginally a BS student until I got through taking math and figured out that any further math coursework wasn't a very smart move.

*sighs* I love the sciences, but having a math learning disability really put the nails in that coffin.

I reckon a topic like this is going to attract mostly people who feel they should show off their educational achievements (the ones who have something to show off with)... That is probably why, according to the poll, like 80% are Uni-graduates here!

As for me, BS in International Economics, MPhil in Econometrics (both in the Netherlands) and currently working on my PhD in Political and Development Economics (at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy).

I clicked on your website. You apparently stopped being christian because the torah contradicted the bible. But how do you know it's not the torah that's false? How do you really know any of the religious books are totally, or even partially true? The torah contradicts the koran. The koran contradicts other religious books. Other religious books contradict the torah. Etc.

Of course, I've only started Film School now. So I still have until not this, but Next Fall until I get my associate's degree.

At the same time, it's my goal NOT to complete college. See, every wannabe director out there is told to wait until your done with school until you try to get a job in the business. And, well, if I have all the know how, why should I have to wait?

See, as far as intelligence in my field goes, I'm beyond anyone at my school (My grades are the the top in the film program. While not proof, it does qualify as evidence. Also, I don't go to a real filmschool), because I've researched film for years, reading the books by the greats.

Wow, it is fascinating to see how far people plan their lives ahead. You are, say 17? And you have planned you next 1 (school)+4(college)+2(working)+4(PhD)=11 years ahead???

Bloody hell, I am 25 and I am happy to sort of know what I will be doing the next 2 years! (finish PhD, that is). When I was 17, I only knew 2 years ahead (finish school, go travel).
