Right now I'm watching Woody Allen's Stardust Memories (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081554/).
Me likes. Me likes lots.
*nods*
What other movies by Woody Allen would you reccomend to me to watch?

I'm not as versed in him as I "should" be, somethings I've liked, some I haven't. Of the 'classic' ones, I actually did like Annie Hall. I like Sweet and Lowdown. I'm trying to think of one that I really liked but I can't. I think there is one...Sleeper I think I remember liking but that was years ago.

I quite liked "Deconstructing Harry" from the classics. "Bullets over Broadway" is also highly recommended. I loathed Sleeper with a special loathing I reserve for bad Woody Allen efforts. A good new one (his fist decent effort in years) is Match Point. It could be called a Woody Allen film that could have been directed by someone else. - This new one is nice because he swerves away form the woody allen playing woody allen neurotic jewish artist talking about himself act that he so assidiously sticks to usually, with great early success, but great repetitive boredome once you get to the likes of "Hollywood Ending".

Take the Money and Run
What's Up, Tiger-Lily?
Bananas
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex
Zelig
And yeah, Sleeper and A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy.
And oh, not to mention his first role as little Jimmy Bond in Casino Royale.

Crimes and Misdemeanors is my favorite movie by the Woodman.
Of course Manhattan is a classic. Maybe the best opening of any movie.
Didn't he marry his step-daughter or something? Not to mention not being funny at all. Like Rodney Dangerfield.

Sleeper is his funniest movie, in my opinion. You can also pick up a collection of his essays and short stories called Without Feathers, which is freakin' hysterical.
