No. I am a contractor and lawyer with a private consulting firm on enterprise level software projects and data mining.

My older sister, however, is the director of wireless security at the Department of Justice, and is a professional hacker. She builds hardware and software for people to use in the field (just for fun). She won a prize at the DefCon hackers' convention a while back for building a WiFi antenna out of garbage from a skip (aluminum foil, cardboard, wire, etc) and picking up the hotel's WiFi from over 10 miles away and hacking into the hotel's network.

The "men" who competed against her had brought home-built parabolic dishes over 10 feet in diameter. They lost.

Anything from pulling the data out of your mobile phone or WiFi-connected laptop without your knowledge, or getting into Bluetooth enabled cars (Acura, for example), unscrambling the crude cryptography used by your wireless phone at home, etc.
