First Aid courses in JUNE in Greater Manchester (England)?

Does anyone know if there's anywhere I can learn First Aid, preferably for less than (or no more than) £80 (including VAT), in Greater Manchester, England, in June? I just want to learn basic first aid (eg. Appointed Person / Lifesavers), preferably with a certificate at the end.

I tried:

St John Ambulance - no courses in June
Red Croass - much more expensive (£75) WITHOUT VAT (so VAT could make it loads)
calling Learndirect
asking at my local information centre within my local library
searching the internet

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Considering that authorities won't be looking for the people who bomb city centres like Manchester, it would probably be a good idea for everyone in Manchester to take these courses.

You mean like the IRA weren't going to? Manchester is a serious terrorist target.

Anyway. Go to a local library or similar and they will likely have something...
