So what am I?

I'm trying to figure out my political stance, am I liberal, Conservative etc. etc. So, I hope that yall can help, here are a list of my political beliefs.
A smaller and limited government, whos main function should be for protection of the people and to uphold our laws and consitution IE police and militatry.
I believe that what people do in the privacy of their own homes is their business and no one elses.
I believe in the right for one to bare arms, espically if you don't live close to any police stations.
I believe that gays should be allowed to get married, and that the government need to butt out of marriage.
I am against such things as Affirmative Action, which is a racist program.
I treat everyone just like I would want to be treated myself, however I do not allow myself to be walked all over.
I am Pro-Life
I believe in lower taxes.
I don't believe in a "safety net" that should be there for you for your entire life.
I believe that sometimes, you need to let people fail so they'll learn.
I don't have a problem with basic health care for our society, but to ask the taxpayers to pay for plastic surgery is silly.
I think most of government functions can be left to the private industry.
I believe in a de-centralized government.
Well that's all I can think of for right now, so what do yall think?

Perhaps you are libertarian? I'm not too sure on that but I might be right.

Don't listen to what people tell you you are. The minute you start rooting for your "team" you abandon standards and rational thought.
Liberal and Conservative are not real things. Just be yourself.
Aside from the pro-life thing and the basic health-care, you sound like a Libertarian.
Of course, those two exceptions happen to be directly opposed to each other on the left-right political spectrum.
Perhaps your just a Centrist? :p
Ideologies are pointless. Support what you beleive is rational and right.

Again, labelling oneself is ultimately limiting. You start listening to those who label themselves similarly and you give more wieght to what they have to say, irrespective of the strength of their argument. It's the "go team!" mentality, and it f*cking sucks.

And this is why this test is so good. It doesn't tell you what category you are (well, it does, but no one cares about that) but it does tell you where you sit on many different axis, and puts your beliefs into perspective.

Or take the test at www.politicalcompass.org.
Argues that there isn't just left or right in politics but also Authoritarian and Liberterian. Thus Stalin would be Left and Authoritarian, Gandi Left and Liberterian, Hitler Authoritarian Centralist and I suggest you might be in the quadrant of very Liberterian (small government high personal freedroms) with right leanings (your pro life stances).
It'll also tell you which historical character your closest too. (I'm Gandi - without the nappy obviously!)

Overall, the PoliticsForum quiz considers you a materialist, free-trade, kind of person.
These characteristics would put you in the overall category of uncategorisable materialist.
Economic Left/Right: -0.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.38

Don't put yourself in a box. It only makes it harder to adjust to reality.
Imagine finding somewhere that operates along the lines you suggest. Imagine it not working as intended and discovering the flaws. If you already had a label attached, you might find it harder to let go of preconceived ideas.

Your thinking seems to be in line with Libertarian views from what I see.
Perhaps you are libertarian? I'm not too sure on that but I might be right.
Almost. Libertarians dont want the government to fund for things such as health care and education.

I'd say Progressive Conservative; progressive in some ideas, fiscally conservative otherwise (eg, believing in small government).
I'd have said Liberatarian, but you like healthcare and probablu education as well, so, it doesn't fit, plus, you do mention a little bit of a safety net, which I assume is for old age when one needs it the most.

You're more of a classic liberal than a libertarian. Libertarians are a pretty extreme form of classic liberalism, or a non-extreme version of individualist anarchism. I'm not sure if the libertarian party in the US actually reflects this.

Agreed, but you can be pro-life, like I am, but not feel it's the government's business to legislate on the abortion issue (I'm personally pro-life, but I don't presume that my personal opinion should be law that applies to everyone). If you accept that precept, yes, you're probably a libertarian. However, the provision of "basic healthcare," presumably funded by the state, would be something with which a true libertarian would never agree.

Moderate right. That used to exist but now you better stay independent and vote for the individual. You're not wanted by either party.

Why do you want to label yourself? Existence is not validated by a name, that's just noise. You have political views that don't fit into a neat little box. Good. What you call yourself isn't important, what you are is.
I'm trying to figure out my political stance. feet spaced out so that they are alined with your shoulders... bend at the waist, supporting your upper body with your arms... keep your eyes closed, mouth open and pants down.
