What Are You Listening To?

I know this thread has been done before, but I'm curious on two counts. I'm sitting here going through my Spanish-language Shakira mp3s. The music itself is okay, but I think she's got an awesome voice, and the Spanish language just sounds amazing in song (when combined with a great voice anyway). I catch a lot of shite for liking it (and probably will here, too), but meh.

So...what're you listening to right now? Also, what do you listen to that you get mocked for?

That's because I don't have any music i'm guilty about listening to. I have a few dud albums that I wouldn't have brought in hindsight (or they were gifts), but I generally don't get mocked for what I do listen to.

Yeah, i'll get there eventually. There's so many bands that I want to check out more but haven't gotten around to yet - argh. I do like Automatic For The People, but Monster was a bit boring.

It's an EP. I don't have the full-length album either, but i've seen them live.

It's okay I guess - I was listening to it a heap when I first got it but it's worn a bit thin. If you liked the song "Dimension", you might like the band Nebula as well.

There's a couple of things I haven't bothered to add onto the list yet...mostly "greatest hits" type deals, and a few old vinyl records.

Monster did kinda suck, but when I said you needed older REM, I meant older REM -- their mid-'80s stuff. That shite's brilliant! They went downhill once they left IRS records and went to a major label with the Green album.
