Faceman from the A-Team. Just... argh...

How the hell does chatting people up get you into some kind of elite commando unit?

He's not really a convincing soldier, and I imagine he probably would have been stabbed by a female VC member after she seduced him in about 3 seconds and then gutted him as he went to kiss her.

Also from the A-Team - Murdoch.

Oh yeah. He's insane. I get the picture. Now he's doing some classical acting. Now he's an American Indian brave. Now he's acting like a dog. Well this is amusing to the nth degree...

Insanity - not actually amusing in the slightest.

On the other hand, Hannibal and Barracus were ace. It should have focused more on them, because, let's face it, they were about twenty times better than the other characters.

Other people I hate from TV :

Josh, from Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

What a smug little bastard. He gets to kiss Melissa Joan Hart, and is clearly pleased by this. So he rubs it in the face of everyone else on-camera, with his little smirk after every kiss that just says "I'm doing this. Not you. And I'm getting paid to do it, too."

Harvey was an alright lad, I have no idea why they needed to pretty much kick him out.

The cat is also quite annoying in this program. I forget his name, though. His remarks are not that amusing at all.

can't remember the character's name, can't remember the Actor's name.

but I do know he became the most hated guy overnight.

the man who married Maddie Hayes in the series Moonlighter.

Hmm, let me see...

Kes from Star Trek Voyager, talk about a useless character. I was very pleased when she left and was replaced by seven of nine.

Jonas from Stargate SG1, just couldn't stand him and didn't watch the show much after he came into it.

Dr Ollivett from Law and Order, I kept hoping she would turn up as a murder victim.

I'm sure there are more, but those three came into my mind quickest.

Yes. Liked Wes Crusher though.

Katya in neighbours.

Driveshaft lead singer in Lost (Mr Echo is really cool though, his addition makes me forgive the creators of Lost for Charlie).

Almost everyone in home and away, except the headmaster guy who left.

Almost everyone in eastenders, except Grant Mitchell. Why do they have to kill of gangsters. Bah.

Kim in 24, she brings a whole level of EMOness to the show that just detracts from it.

Phoenix in X men 3 (not really a TV show, I know, but the sheer pointlessness of her.............)

Mrs Mangle? Joe's aunt she was and a right cow, my hate of this character led to actual physical violence when I actually threw the remote at the screen as once again she stuck her oar into some poor sods life. :mp5:

My current Bette Noir is that B1tch from Eastenders (uk) Pauline Fowler. Constantly F'ing miserable, nothing is good enough for her little Martin (he's 25 or something for god's sake woman) and the mouth on her would turn manna from heaven sour. :sniper:

Having just re-read the above i'm slightly ashamed at how these two fictional, FICTIONAL, characters stir up such a reaction in me :(

Is it cos i am stoopid, or that they're well written, well acted characters?

actually, i don't care, i just want them dead.

Oliver had potential, but by that point, the writer knew the series was ending and so didn't put much care into the character--he was just a placeholder.

The only thing about him that made me laugh were the Dr. Who jokes. Besides, he could never compete with Jeff, who is quite possibly one of my favourite sitcom characters ever.

If you hate Seinfeld, you'll really hate the co-creator of that show, Larry David. He's got a show called "Curb Your Enthusiasm" in which he incorporates every personality trait you've ever hated about Seinfeld x1000. Shit, I liked Seinfeld and I can't stand Larry David.

On that, we agree completely. If anything, Oliver was hampered by the fact that he was only a slightly different sort of wacky from Jeff, instead of being completely different. You need a total reversal in a replacement or there will be inevitable comparisons.

Slightly different sort of wacky? Nah, they tried replacing a totally insane guy with a sci-fi geek. The only way in which they were alike is that they were totally clueless around women in a goofy kinda way. Oliver could never have pulled off some of the rants Jeff did (the one about God creating the ass springs to mind), nor would Oliver ever have goteen himself into the situations Jeff did (having Julia handcuffed to the bed when her ex-boyfriend showed up), or swallowed a chick's knickers. :D

Yeah, I'm glad he's on Last Comic Standing instead of that pushover Jay Mohr. Anthony Clark is gold, he doesn't try HARD to be funny, but he just is.

Well Wash is this dopey little little white guy and Zoe is a smoking hot black chick. He tries desperately to be funny and she's sarcastic enough that is actually is funny.

Hell I'm gay and I'll freely admit Zoe is fuckin hot. Wash just sucks.

The difference is Anthony Clark is a real stand-up comedian (and he made the mistake many stand-ups have of signing onto a sitcom). Jay Mohr just used stand-up as a vehicle to get into acting.
