Armored Cars "Sonyonho" Presented to KPA
Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The members of the Korean Children's Union across the country presented to the Korean People's Army many armored cars "Sonyonho" provided by them through a dynamic movement for doing good things on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the union. Kim Kyong Ho, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, in a report at a ceremony held at Jonsung Square Monday said that these armored cars are associated with burning patriotism and sincere desire of the union members across the country to contribute even a bit to increasing the combat capability of the KPA, the best mainstay for the Songun revolution and the main force of revolution, true to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.
A certificate for the presentation of armored cars was conveyed to a commanding officer of a relevant unit of the KPA at the ceremony.
Students addressing the ceremony underscored the need to do many good things helpful to the KPA and positively help war veterans, disabled soldiers and dependants of the KPA servicemen, mindful that aiding the servicemen with sincerity while studying hard and taking an active part in the organizational life of the union precisely means remaining true to the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il.
An officer of the KPA Chae Kwang Bok expressed the servicemen's will to prize and take good care of the armored cars associated with the patriotic devotion of the union members across the country, defend the defence line of the country as firm as an iron wall, always remembering the expectation of the people and schoolchildren, and thereby give full play to the might of the revolutionary army under Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il.
Present at the ceremony were Kim Jung Rin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Kim Yong Jin, minister of Education
Jesus tapdancing christ, DPRK! If the Evil Capitalist Overlords™ really wanted to conquer the Juche ideal, crush Beloved Leader, and make you slaves to Bill Gates, a bunch of armoured cars ain't going to do jack! Spend that money on some good ole Nukes, then perhaps we'll give a damn!
DPRK, grow up, and get some damn Nukes! Stop pussyfooting around!
