Well, the REAL source is here: Making an F-16 from a cereal box, some Scotch tape, and a British penny (http://qntm.org/f16).
Pretty cool! (Even though impossible.)

It's wrong.
You stick one (1, this is IMPORTANT) rocket engine into a tube of aluminum foil and then watch it crash in the desert.

Why exactly would I want an F-16?

That won't work exactly. The stock market crashes and general economic decline that happened throughout western Europe and the US would cause you to lose alot of the savings you deposited. I suggest Depositing it in 1945-That way you avoid the depression and start out right on the cusp of an economic boom period.

Prototype stuff, the Su-30 pwns all and has the advantage of being available as an export production model. You can even customise it with your own computers and avionics.

I don't really care what claims people make for their prototypes. If it's not in mass production, it is of no importance.
Malaysian MiG-29s with their non-Russian electronics, owned Australian F-18s in practice, Indian Su-30s owned American F-15s in practice, so I believe they work well.

Nah, give me a British Aerospace Harrier T.Mk 10 Jump Jet over any other fighter plane anytime. Any plane that can stop, turn and bow to you before it blows you to smithereens is just damn cool.
Oh and the computer system? A bit more powerdul as a zx spectrum, but not quite as powerful as commodore 64.
I'd like a PBY Catalina.
However, I only have 4.7 x 10^38 tonnes of tape, so it's just a pipe dream. :(

Singapore uses F-16's so if Malaysia decides to take the island - it's MiG29 vs F16.

You've got to be in Britain, though. :D
