Which player do you think will effect the World Cup most?

AB Again got me thinking about this. We've already got 4 threads, if not more, on who will win, but who do you think will make the biggest impact in the World Cup this summer?
I've got a pole of a few players, but there are more than can be listed of course :)
So go on, who and why?

Theo Walcott
It is more likely to be some Australian defender by crippling a couple of Brazilians.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, because he will score the winning goal against Germany in the final.

Yes, but it will still be an impact.
More seriously, I think that Lampard will have more impact than Gerrard (but I would, wouldn't I) but the player likely to have the biggest impact if his team get out of their group is Lionel Messi.

Yeah, esp. if Riquelme doesn't have a good game and needs replacing, Messi will hopefully show what he can do, bar falling dramatically after a less than bad challenge at Chelsea.

Yup, I think he'll play, maybe later on in the group stage, but he'll play. But lets say he breaks something when getting off the plane in Manchester, it'll put a rather large dent in the confidence of the team.

Maybe. I'm not convinced about Walcott, though. However, as every Arsenal fan knows, "Arsene knows", so he probably is quite good. I was thinking that SWP could replace Pires, and Walcott would be playing up front.

Let's see Walcott at the World Cup - it's likely he'll play a bit part against T&T and Sweden, simply because we should have the former match wrapped up by half-time, and the latter we should only need a draw.

That Fag Rivaldo will make a guest appearance somehow and take a dive.:gundge:
I thought I had posted something in this read but seems not. I think the biggest on that pol list will be Ballack, he can drag Germany far like Maradona (just I don't think Ballack cheats as much) did with his country. Hnery will be limp for France, same with Garrad for England unless a holding player starts.
One person who I think will make an impact is Lehman of Arsenal and Germany. Should be holding a CL winners medal and playing behind a poor defence will be kept busy but what a shot stopper.
