Where in NZ, where people live, does it snow? I've heard of very tiny snowfalls in the South Island, but only decent amounts in the mountains. In the North Island it only ever snows around Ruapehu and surrounding area.

meh, generally sucky, but this is Britain so we're only allowed 4 summery days a year anyway :p
had one of them yesterday though - went down the beach, yay! :D
Speaking for SE England, we just got the first couple of sunny days of summer. Not that they were spectacularly hot, but it was a change from grey skies and showers.

Propaganda! It's not snowing anywhere except way up north! It is an established scientific fact that the Earth is flat and that since the Sun travels towards the southerly parts of the Earth, it is hence warmer and sunnier that way. An example: I live in Oregon, in the NW United States. It's a temperate climate here. But if you head south, you find California, where it is warmer. If you go further south, you enter Mexico. If you go even further south, you may wind up in Chile, which has the world's driest desert (seeing as it's almost directly under the sun). Antarctica, however, is entirely mythological because an ice mass of that size cannot exist in such a hot climate.
Therefore, New Zealand, if it exists, is both very hot and also in cahoots with the lunatic fringe group, the "Round-Earthers", because they claim to have sent many expeditions to Antarctica.

It does exist, and so does Antarctica, tis a magical place where during summer the sun circles around the sky, always in view. and in winter, the sun isn't seen at all

Western Australia - It's winter, I guess. Warm enough indoors that I'm typing this in shirtsleeves.
