you can pick two powers but some naturally go together (super strength and invulnerability etc)
I'd pick super strength and the power of terrakinesis(control over earth based material, rock,coal,dirt,sand,diamond,etc)

I would want to read people's minds (especially women's minds).

The power to turn back time and undo mistakes.

The power to create an automobile using only my mind.

The power to massively increase the speed of my nervous system and brain at will. Not only would I be faster than anyone else, I would also be able to invent anything else I needed through thought power and be able to talk my way out of any situation by speeding my brain up. I'd want my eyes to change color, just for coolness' sake.

Barring omnipotence, I woild definitely take:

Clairtangency and Teleportation.

For those of you who don't know what Clairtangency is, It's a fusion of CLairvoyance and Telekinesis. It allows distant locations to be viewed and to manipulate matter at those distant locations. For instance: I could observe the interior of the Oval Office and depants the President. :D

If I could only have 2? High-order telepathy and telekinesis. Telepathy so I could read and assert my will over other people's minds-- a sure route to power and influence and lots of sex with any hot guy I wanted-- and telekinesis so I could smash gay-bashers and fuck 'em all up without touching them (catch me now, CSI! hah!)

Now if I could boy a power-up, I'd add some high-octane healing abilities so I could recover from any injury or illness, and-- by extension-- live for hundreds if not thousands of years. More time to accumulate power and influence and have lots of sex :)

I'd want to be able to fly, just because it's cool, and slow down time at will.

Think, if you could slow down time you wouldn't necessarily have to be super strong. No one would be able to hit you.

You guys forget omniscience. What use if being omnipotent if you aren't omnisciencent (sp?).

Personally, I would prefer omniscience. If I had no other superpowers, the ability to always know the right place to be, the right time to be there, and the right thing to do, would still be exceedingly powerful. (This would also give you the ability to "invent" anything and talk your way out of any situation, since you would already have all knowledge.)

On the downside, you might need some hardcore antidepressants...since knowledge of all things would include a lot of bad stuff you couldn't do much about.

World domination is, of course, too much work. Through careful use of the stock market I'd amass a comfortable fortune, which would free up the rest of my time to travel the world screwing up the timeline. (For those of you familiar with the show, think Early Edition, on steroids.)

The ability to change my body in any way at will. That's bound to come in handy.

I'd like to be some kind of communist themed super-conqueror, not due to any Marxist leanings, just for the pure Soviet kitsch.

My powers would be that I have a sickle that I can that i can hurl with deadly accuracy, and that returns to me boomerang-stylee. And secondly, I have a hammer with which I can use to smash _anything_.

I already possess the power of "Jimness" and am well on my way to conquering the world.:D

1) Time control. Obviously.
2) Manipulation of water. You can freeze it, you can heat it and humans are 65% made up out of it. Also, it would come in very handy on warm summer days, snowball fights, watering the flowers, preparing drinks and during chemistry lab sessions.

These powers combined;

3) Abiogenesis.

I've always thought it would be cool to have the ability to change form into anything, animate or inanimate, but always retain my normal, conscious mind (floating around in some hyper-dimension or something), so I can have the ability to change back (although I would also have the ability, if I changed into something animate, to let the mind/instincts of whatever I was to affect me to certain degrees -- to see what it's like, say, to feel the impulse to pounce on something as a house cat, or to better understand the workings of a woman's mind...)

If I had a second power, I would like temporal abilities. Specifically, I would like the ability to observe the past at any time and place, to observe the effects of changing anything in the past (basically, the ability to view alternate universes), and to "preview" the future effects of various things happening.

The ability to control water.

The ability to learn and discouver everyting, and dont forget it.
