SWEET. World War II plans flying around here

I am watching a B-17, 24 and 25 flying around. We have a historical group in town. You can look them over and for $400 US *cough* get a 1/2 hour ride.

I don't know it just seems better hearing and watching them go by.

Don't know why? It just does for me.

Too bad my great-uncle isn't around. They give the vets free rides......

Talking of planes I'm going to cosford air show next week end. It should be great, I just love plains. Bueatifull old ones or powerfull new jets that make your chest rumble. Its going to be so cool :cool:

I remember the other week I saw the last Hawker Hurricane ever to have entered the RAF, the only still flying Battle of Britain Spitfire (which is also the oldest flying Spitfire), and one of the last two flying Lancaster bombers.

That was cool.

That is pretty cool. The closest we get around here is Fleet Week, and then it's mostly jets flyin' around (like the Blue Angels practicing. In the city it's hard to figure out which way to look to know where they're going to come from). I'd prefer, actually, vintage planes.
