If :upyours: is so rude and annoying, why did whoever is in charge of smilies put it in with the other smilies? Same with :sniper: , and :mp5: .

It always struck me as odd that flaming was against the rules, but there was a "fuck you" smiley.

It struck me as odd too. I think though, as others have said, they're there as signal to indicate noob posts.
