No no no my good man. We have discussed this many times before. Sometimes, breaking the law isn't necessarily immoral. After all, look at some laws put into place. No gay marriage? So having two men marry is immoral? No smoking cannabis? So smoking something which doesn't give you lung cancer is immoral? No statutory rape? So loving someone who is less that 18 (16 for you Brits) and they loving you back is immoral? Remeber my good man, breaking the law doesn't necessarily make you immoral. In this case, it is slightly immoral to not tell the truth, but since he didn't lie either, it's not fully immoral.

Besides which the moral high ground is entirely overrated.

As a result of the stock market losses, however, Frist 2000, Inc. did not have enough money to repay the loan. Senator Frist solved this problem by having the 1994 and the 2000 campaign committees jointly take out a $1.44 million bank loan at a cost of $10,000 a month interest. Frist 2000, Inc. did not report this debt on its FEC disclosure forms.

Thats basically stealing. Is that immoral?

It wasnt recorded.
So what if he didn't record it? Is anyone getting out of money because he didn't record it? He still payed it back, therefore it is not stealing.
