It's time to parade out the EVIL QUEERS!

Honestly are conservatives too fucking stupid to notice Bush's support for the issue vanished immediately after he was elected and reappears the instant the Republicans need votes?

Surely they're not that stupid are they?

How the hell can any decent conservative support a gay marriage amendment? I thought they had more respect for the Constitution than that! Even if one DOES oppose gay marriage, It clearly has no place in the COnstitution and Bill of Rights.

What do you think? - Be honest.

Shiit.. This self-gratifying, holier-than-thou wank is just sad. Sad & disgusting. It really doesn't surprise me the US has such a high murder rate. Hits them both comming & going, I wager. Too fucking dumb not to kill eachother & too fucking dumb not to warrent killing.

But perhaps their god will sort them out.

Quite a character, isn't he? I always pictured God as playing a huge game of some sort of civilisation sim with the 'States and just having a bit of a laugh with them during the development stages.

"Hehe... let's make them hate Gays! And have a big gay population and watch the fireworks! Oh, and let's give them all guns and make sure they always hate their government! And we'll set up the economy so that there're loads of poor people but they enjoy being brainwashed by the media so they don't give a damn! Oh, and don't forget the religion that encourages them to look forward to the end of the world! That should keep things interesting!"

Hell I'm a conservative and I think we should write a ban on sodomy into that constitutional amendment; go back to the good old days.

The question I have always wondered is how a constitutional amendment banning Gay Marriage would protect the sanctity of marriage as a whole?

Surely, marriage needs defence from adultery, sham partnerships and the like more than it does from gays who simply want their relationships to have the same comparable rights that heterosexual couplings do?

Still, if you want to go back to the "good old days", why not go back to race segregation? Or repeal women's right to vote? Or abolish this newfangled idea that marriages should be based on love, and not on which partnerships the families think are practical? Or why not go back further, to the good old days of the Roman Empire, where homosexual marriages were alright for rich people? Or further still, to the days when religion had fuck-all to do with marriage?

You're not conservative. You're just fundie.

Wow. You certainly would like to ban a lot of stuff. Is there anything fun that you do like?

Which good old gays would this be exactly? Cause homosexuality has been around for a looong time.

As I've said before, when you can't kick the niggers any more to gain the hate vote, you always have the fags to kick. Oh, they may like to sugar coat it by calling it "conservatism," but everyone knows exactly what it is.

And it's just up the US ally. This is a country that had segregated schools into the 70's. Really, now, let's not act surprised at what the "land of the free, home of the brave" does.

The good old days when the Bill of Rights protected the rights of inividuals and limited government.

How about we go back to the real good old days during ancient Rome and Greece where sodomy was common practice...

Sometimes I wish you were an American, Fass. Why? Because you'd be one of those that is actually capable of change.

Fortunately, there are those capable of change that do intend on changing things. Myself, for instance. America has never truly held up to its ideals. It's high time someone made sure it did.
