The thing is, Kerry wasn't an idiot. Gore's only fault was that he was boring.

Kerry was a football playing war hero.

Bush was a draft dodging cheerleader from New England.

Somehow Bush convinced people like Eut that he was a pro-military Texan cowboy. He convinced people that if you're trying to get to Kansas from Florida and you find yourself in Hawaii then you keep going West because Kansas is West of Florida and to turn around would be flip-flopping.

Baisicly, we have Bush as a president because the American people are lazy, stupid, and ignorant.

I'm sure that someone is going to claim that it is ironic that I would say something ignorant decrying American ignorance, but that comment would also be ignorant. The American people are ignorant because they watch American corporate news if they get any news at all.

Some people have been complaining that the young are misinformed because they get their news from the Daily Show instead of news networks. But it turns out that people who watch the Daily Show are more well informed than people who watch network news. People who watch FOX news actually have anti-knowledge. They are MORE poorly informed than people who simply don't watch the news. Somone who doesn't even know that our troops are in Iraq is more well informed than someone who gets their news about Iraq from FOX news.

THAT's why we have GWB.
