There are two types of people

Those who worship the omnipotence of the Cosmic Rough Riders (http://www.cosmicroughriders.com)...

...and those who WILL BURN IN HELL.

These guys are my absolute favourite band, and I'm consistently astounded that they never get any commercial attention.

Obviously, that means most people here won't have heard of them, rendering this thread slightly pointless. So, in the spirit of generality, do you have any particular bands that you like, yet that remain very small and fail to capture the wider attention? If so, who are they?

When I've been to the UK, nobody has heard of Jerry Reed.

Can't say I have either. However, the Atlantic can be very broad musically, so that's less surprising, to an extent. I'm talking more about groups where even local/national impact seems to the observer far short of that deserved.

Burning in hell is against my new religon. It's called "The religon where you don't go to hell, as that would not be particularly fun assuming hell is a big fiery pit of despair and not a big fun party for people rejected from heaven/paradise/blah"

Basically, we worship llamas and soy sauce.

Tell me about this mysterious soy sauce... is it akin to soya sauce, or is it something completely different?
Teach me your ways! ;)

It's pretty much the same thing. A religion based on llamas and soy sauce sounds quite cool. Do you marinate the llama in soy sauce before roasting, or what?

Guess I should actually respond to the OP as well...

I've vaguely heard of CRR, but...well, I'd be hard pushed to tell you what kind of music they play...

As most people who frequent music threads on here will already know, I'm borderline obsessive about 65daysofstatic (www.65daysofstatic.com). They're fucking brilliant. Everyone should see them at least once in their life.

True, but I don't really care. He's my favorite musician of anything of all time.

And 99 percent of people don't fully appreciate him anyways.

There are 3 kinds of people, those that can count, and those that can't.

There are 10 kinds of people, those that understand binary, and those who don't.
