Do you have both parents?
Do you have the latest Car?
Do you live in the Suburbs?
Are you upper middle class or higher?
Despite all this do you still feel depress?
Do you like to wear old men's pants and black?
Do you like to dye your own hair, and do it horribly wrong?
Do you reject all modern Tech. and instead listen to viynal records and play Atari?
Do you write poetry about how "sad" you are?
Do you think that no one "understands" you?
Do you think you're life is full of "pain"?

If the answear to all of the above is yes, then, yes you are Emo!

Please find a new fad quickly.

Emo is way over-used. It has it's REAL meaning, then it's also applied to any intelligent thinking-person. "Sin is Life?" WTH is that supposed to mean? "Virtue is Life?" "Smilies are Life?" "Video Gams are Life?" "Wikipedia is Life?" "70's Disco is Life?" WTH DOES IT MEAN (http://smilies.vidahost.com/contrib/lilly/aha1blue.gif)?!?!?

It doesn't mean anything, like keep on truckin', or Give Peace a Chance

A slice of Cheesecake for anyone who can tell me where that line came from.

Keep on truckin' means to keep going regardless.

Give peace a chance means to... give peace a chance? It's somewhat self-explanatory.

"Sin is life" is backwards, and comes off as somewhat meaningless, which makes you seem somewhat stupid. Not saying you are, just the phrase makes it seem so.

... PRETENTIOUS! That was the word I was looking for! It kept bothering me I couldn't remember it...

I was using a line from a famous TV show from a famous Character. That Cheese cake is still up for grabs for anyone who can tell me the name of the show and character!

I don't know if I could comment on wether or not it was emo, but it does seem to correspond to the Buddhist idea of bon’no soku bodai, meaning "earthly desires are enlightenment", the idea being that because of the suffering caused by either sin or earthly desires, people seek a way to overcome them, transforming them into something that can add value to life.

The Bible teaches forgiveness. But what is forgiveness if there are no sins to forgive? Sin is in fact life.

Fist, I'll have to read your papper. Then I'll ask you, "What does sin and life have to do with an accused emo papper?"

I agree.

Life is Sin.
Meaning to me that an meaningful life is impossible
to combine with ethics.
And that Sin is positive thing worth more to me than virtue.
Or that I have alternative ethic that cannot be called ethic becouse it's just me.

It is selfish to live and life is reckless and unrestrained in it's chaotic
random way.
Nobody should control life but instead be controled by life.
