I had surgery on my wrist last friday, I've had a cloth cast on it ever since then.

I decided not to smoke weed while I was recovering.. can't remember why..

Well all week I had very little/no pain. When I did, I took one of the pills they gave me (Darvocet).

Yesterday I felt since I'm getting the cast taken off on tuesday, it'd be alright to smoke some weed. Well, I got high. Then my wrist started hurting ever since.

Now, I have no idea why.

I was thinking it's either..
A- The cast is starting to bunch up on where the stitches are, so it is hurting.
B- Weed is some how.. reacting/causing it to hurt.

Shit if I know.. so I'll ask you :D

..even tho I'm seeing the doctor today..

So.. could it possibly be the weed?

It very well could be the weed. I don't know about potential interaction problems between Darvocet and Marijuana, but there could be some--it could be that the weed inhibits the painkiller. It's not generally a good idea to mix drugs.

The weed could easily have let some muscles in the area relax, allowing something to move a fraction internally. (It does rather depend on what you had done). The weed will also affect your circulation, which may trigger a reaction in the wrist. It could just be that you strained the wrist a little preparing the smoke.

Oh, yeah sure, it's fun (http://www.studip.uni-goettingen.de/pictures/smile/joint.gif) at first, but later (http://www.studip.uni-goettingen.de/pictures/smile/jointbounce.gif)... Switch to this (http://www.studip.uni-goettingen.de/pictures/smile/kaffee.gif)...

"later (http://www.studip.uni-goettingen.de/pictures/smile/jointbounce.gif)"

And what, precisely, does that represent? Cause to me, it just looks like some dude with a fez, chillin, feelin' bouncy, smoking a joint. And if that is what it is...then what is wrong with that?

And hey, coffee is good, I often enjoy a cup or two. But why switch to that? Are you trying to get me addicted to caffeine? YOU BASTARD!!!
