Wouldn't it be f***ed up if we were all wrong about Wacko Jacko? I mean, think about it-- a guy's life is stained forever because of a crazed media circus started by some kid and his mom who wanted Michael's money.
Remember that I'm speaking hypothetically; I believe he was most likely guilty but do not have enough information to know.

First off, he was acquited the first time, and acquited the second time. As far as I'm concerned, that means he's innocent.
Secondly, are you guys forgetting this is Japan? Even if he was a child molestor, that kind of thing is the freaking NORM in Japan! Regardless of what happens he's not going to be brought up on anything. They adore him in Japan anyway. Read up on Azrael's editorials on Outpost Nine some time, for science's sake.

Most of the people I talked about the subject say he was and they had their arguments, so I'm right that hes considered to be one to an extent.

The problem is in our society we judge far too quickly. If someone is accused of something, they must be guilty. Rarely do we hear about the acquittals and the swearings of innoncence. I hope none of you ever have to face a child molestation charge or anything similar, as you'll be screwed job wise for the rest of your life. It destroys lives, and people don't give a damn about it. A shame, that.

You do have a point there...:(
You do have a point there...:( But how could his innocence not be determined if he's innocent? With forensics and all they could do studies on the kid to confirm whether he was tainted or not.
That's not it. He could be declared innocent all he likes. Thing is, society already condemned him. They won't listen; they won't give a damn. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on the planet who actually has an open-mind, who isn't a bloody sheep. 'Course, I'm not, and I know that intellectually. But science knows it doesn't always feel that way.

What if he's good with children, or just likes being around them in a friendly manner? Jesus--assuming such a historical figure did exist--was reportedly around children all the time, yet no one accuses him of being a paedophile.
Honestly, I don't see a problem with a person being around children, so long as they don't do anything...well, you know what I mean.
Michael Jackson though...that's an iffy issue. Yes, he is innocent, but...it is still a little frightening. I'd just advise careful monitoring. If he does nothing, it's all well in the end.

A little creepy? Of course. But not necessarily bad! All I'm saying is that we reserve judgement unless they have been shown to actually do something, that's all. In some cases, a better safe than sorry policy is acceptable. This, however, is not one of those.

Ya, true, he's not a "known sex offender" as such.
As far as I know, it has not been proven that Michael Jackson has indeed abused any child. Whether he's guilty or not I cannot say but I have to assume he's not, since he's been cleared from the charges.
Also, somehow I've always felt that parents accusing him were more keen to get a multimillion dollar compensation, than to throw him in jail. You see, if I was certain that MJ had abused my child, I would not want to claim his money for anything in this world, so that no one could suspect of my intentions. I would rather have him thrown in a psychiatric hospital and see that money given to a charity protecting children from child abuse. Any compensation would have to be a result of the judge's sentence, not of my requests...
Most of the allegations started after his famous remark that it's perfectly normal to share a bed with a child. I agree with him but I would word it differently "it's perfectly normal to share a bed with your child". My feeling is that there is a possibility that MJ cannot distinguish his children from other people's, because he's so infatuated with children. If this is the case, it's hardly a crime...
