Right now there is a 23"x12" brisket marinating in claudes smoke sauce at my parent's house. I can smell it from here..(Almost). It's marinating for 16 hours then it will be slow cooked for 3....

MMmm...brisket. I will post the Nationstates first ever dinner pic and show you how we southerners eat :D

It's a common dish in the south? I've always thought of it, through plenty of experience with my family, primarily as a Jewish dish...Our passover brisket is always depressingly dry. Still haven't managed to cook it right after years of attempts.
