Right now there is a 23"x12" brisket marinating in claudes smoke sauce at my parent's house. I can smell it from here..(Almost). It's marinating for 16 hours then it will be slow cooked for 3....

It's a common dish in the south? I've always thought of it, through plenty of experience with my family, primarily as a Jewish dish...
