What would your dream area (country, state, private property, et cetera) be like if you had unlimited funds? I'll post mine in a little bit.

I'd tether Ireland to blimps and move it to a warmer climate.

I would like to buy a thousand acres and build a house smack in the middle.

Then I would have a mud pit for my 4x4 and the occasional gladiator death match.

Trails for an ATV

And a gun range.

Unlimited funds? I'd buy myself a state and throw everyone out, I would personally hold at least 3 electoral votes in every election, along with being in the Senate (twice) and in the House of Representatives. My state would have a 0% crime rate, 0% unemployment rate, and the best economy (since I create unlimited wealth) in the world. Perhaps I'd buy Texas just to spite the neo-cons :p

Another idea would be to just buy my own country and run it however I chose. Don't think communism can work? Well I have unlimited funds to prove it can! ;)

I'd go with something simple. I neat little piece the Kooteneys (BC, Canada) would do it for me, probably right along the west arm of Kooteney lake itself right up in the mountainside. I'd love a house built somewhat into the rock, with a totally sweet yard (lots of plants, flowers and jazz.....except I'm terrible at all that yard work stuff) and a 3-4 car garage built partially underneath and into the rock for my various vehicles (a hot rod or two). Wouldn't even have to be a big house, enough that my girl and I could live quite comfortably (couple rooms, enough room for a guest or two). That's my dream area.

Simple, make everything free for everyone. Thats how it should be.

I would buy the USA, and I would turn it into a fun place! :D
