I hardly need a quiz to tell me my nationality, and I'm not sure why an Austrian would either.

It's an economics quiz, not a nationality one. ;)

Your score is: 82 / 100.

These results were from the truncated version of the quiz because I'm tired and lazy.

Hmmm...I'm just barely half-Austrian. Economically, anyhoo.

What does this mean? I have no clue. :p

I had every intention of taking that quiz. But then it was long and boring, and I was apathetic and bored, so I didn't.

But at a guess, I would say I am 60% not Austrian.

A misleading 68% - I had more Chicago school answers - 13 Chicago, 10 Austrian, and 2 historical.

That's a great find. Sad that you can tell which is which before you choose an option, but I tried not to pay attention.

My score was 63/100.
I had 8 Austrian answers, no socialist answers, 3 Keynesian answers and 14 Chicago Answers.

Milton Friedman, here I come! :p

You call that a nationality quiz??

I think this would realy be a nationality quiz:

Are you Swilatian

1) Were you born in Swilatia
2) Do you have a Swilatian Passport?
3) Are your parents Swilatian.

Okay, this is for everyone who thinks this has anything to do with nationality:

(One might think with a 7+ economic score on the PC, you'd have heard of the Austrian school by now...)

Most of my answers were Neo-Classical/Keynesian. The only ones i recognized for sure were the socialist ones, so it was nothing i did on purpose. I would have picked the socialist answers if i wanted to cheat.

This test requires a knowledge of economics which I currently lack. So, I'll leave it for later.

if it weren't economic there'd be the one question:

are you mind numbingly dull?

Borderline Keynes/Chicago. I agree with Chicago about some of the more practical aspects of the phillosophy, and prefer Keynes for other stuff.

My score 52/100

Most of my answers were Chicago school.

Austrian and Neo-classical/Keynesian were tied in second place.

I guess I'm a neo-classical/Keynesian Austrian.

8 of 100. They made it easy; the socialist answers were obvious, and I confess to not carefully reading through the other options on some of them.

I went off the party line on the question of value (no LTV for me; I chose the Austrian option on that one), on money (sorry, money is useful, let's not get rid of it; I chose the Keynesian option), on the environment (actually, no, in that case the "socialist answer" was not the party line, but nevermind; I chose the Keynesian answer again), and on national defense (went Chicago on that one).

87 out of 100. I agree with them on a lot of things, but I'm just a bit shy of an anarcho-capitalist (Barely, though).

Seconded. I'm sorry, but the questions aren't even fun to answer. I much rather read comic books.

Distribution of my answers:

Chicago: 13
Austrian: 6
Keynesian: 4
Socialist: 2

Sorry, but I'm a diehard advocate of empiricism and the scientific method (being a student of social science). Thus, this "praxeology" stuff strikes me as being bogus. :D

4/100

My non-socialist answers were all Keynesian/historical answers, and were:

2) Economics is not a science
5) There is no formula for economic value
12) Raising wages increases demand for products
22) National defense would not be sufficient if supplied only by the market.
