Probably work, since there's no memorial day in Canada as far as I know.

Remembrance Day, mate. November 11th.

Yes, I know, but we only have one such holiday. In November. that means snow, rain, sludge and quite likely work for me anyway because the market I work for likes to steal business from the bigger stores at every turn.

Guitar Center is having a sale, so I know where I'll be spending my whole day on Monday.

<.<

>.>

The sale is only an excuse to go there and play the guitars, you see.

Raising my elevation about 6000 ft by going to the mountains and spending the weekend with family in a cabin. Eating watermelon, BBQing letting the dogs run leash free, playing pinochle and canasta retelling old dreadful jokes and laughing, drinking beer replacing a valve that froze and broke over the winter and taking long naps enjoying the christmas tree smell and generally having a really pleasant time.

I'm going to do HW, and hate the fact that I got sick for a full month thus requiring me to do about 6 weeks of HW in this weekend so that I can graduate with my class and go to the college that has already accepted me. And offered me a pretty big merit scholarship. :D

I'll be marching my arse off with the local band. Because they don't let us practice on Sundays like we used to, but for some reason we're allowed to put in a 9-hour day on a national holiday. :headbang:

Well, we have some hamburgers and hot dogs, and Daddy has his "man area" grill spot, so we're gonna grill. Mama'll make some oven fries and baked beans, maybe we'll grill some corn on the cob. The dog will definitely get a hot dog, which will make his day, and the cats will get some turkey burger. We just moved recently, so as much as I'd like to see fireworks from our place atop the hill here, I think fireworks are illegal in my city.

During the day, we'll probably do a bunch of cleaning (although we did a lot of power-washing and leaf-blowing today), and my sister and I will probably stand on the roof and paint for a little while as we are wont to do.

Thankfully, we don't have to go out of town and visit people >P.
