Aye ... I'm sure this thread has been done, but I've been busy this week. Last week of school for the kids and lots of craziness going on, so I'm now starting my own thread on this thing and if the mods want to merge it with something already going on, cool.

Anyway ....

A *real* musician won American Idol. I could not possibly be more excited about that. Taylor Hicks is an actual MUSICIAN. Not some plastic wannabe, but a true singer/songwriter. That grey haired, blues singin', Ray Charles-esque dude actually WON!

I'm betting $20 that he's made plastic within 1 month. 30 days is my bet. Who else wants in?

it depends. Kelly Clarkson is taking charge of her career so that's why it took so long. she's got a tight grip on what she wants. Clay Aiken is also doing well.
