There could be a scientist standing behind you and reading over your shoulder, as we type.

i saw this on the news last night. it cant be possible to create the true form of invisibilty in my opinion. you may beable to create the illusion of it with cameras, mirrors, or whatever form of tech. you can be invisible to the naked eye if you were willing to die by getting your molicules seperated, but that is very unlikely if not impossible.

What do you mean "true form"? Being invisible is...well, not being visible. Lone molecules are generally invisble to the naked eye, even if you can see them with a powerful microscope. If it can't be seen at some point for some reason, it's invisible. It doesn't have to be invisible to all things in all frequencies simultaneously.

When I read that, I immedietly waved my hands behind this chair. Just to be sure. They aren't there yet, but as soon as the government gets ahold of this... enter the new realm of NSA spying. Now they don't just tap your phones, they watch you making the call!

Actually it just makes it "flow around" you. But I imagine that devices that make you see light outside the visual spectrum (e.g. infrared goggles) could be used.

Different spectrums of light. Infrared for one. Or if you really want to spook people out, a full bodysuit covering everything but the eyes.

Imagine that, a pair of floating eyes....

I am willing to die to be invisible. That would creep you all out, wouldn't it? Where's my invisible corpse? You don't know! Maybe my invisible corpse is in the back seat of your car. Or in your food pantry. Or with you in bed when you go to sleep.

Dogs have much better ability to sniff people out, compared to humans. You'd have to be really clean or scentless.

Scientists are also working on a germ that will wipe out all canines. Coincidence?

Getting through the steam unnoticed would be a challenge. Remember, just because they can't see you doesn't mean they can't see that you're there.

if someone is truly invisible, then they would be blind. Visibility comes from electromagnetic waves stricking atoms, bringing their electrons to a higher level charge, and since everything in nature goes for the lowest possible energy spending, the extra energy is released in the form of light.

If I am invisible, then nothing will strike my retina, and I won't be able to see anything at all.
