on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhu_qDdGSNU).

I knew it was in the works--didn't know it would be released in July. I have to admit something here--I'm a Smith geek. I have all the DVDs except for Jersey Girl, and my copies of Dogma and J&SBSB are signed copies. I have the Silent Bob action figure. I can recite long segments of Mallrats from memory. So to say that I'm excited about the return of Dante and Randal is an understatement.

Who's going to see it?

I have mixed feelings. I mean, I liked Clerks, I even liked the Clerks cartoon. I think he very well will be just as funny this time around.

But I feel for Kevin Smith. He really wanted to move away from the Jay and Silent Bob Jersey 'triology' thing. I liked Jersey Girl, actually, but I may have been the only one to have actually seen it.

So if I go and see this, will I just be further condemning Smith to the occasional Jay and Silent Bob movie until it becomes as unworkable as a Cheech & Chong movie, then Smith cleans up his image and plays side kick in some more adult 'family friendly' fare with the occasional raunchy cameo and Jay will be the recuring 'in joke' on That 90's Show...

Do I want to do that to him?

Yeah, I'm going to watch. Sorry Kevin Smith. Or your welcome. Whichever.

I'll put my $ down on seeing Jay gettin his bitchy ass pwned. Nothing less. I want to see him crawl a frame more than he did hopin' to hop Linda Fiorentino or to get a chromepolish from Bob.
Maybe even a drip of blood and some yellow on that pretty bitch face.
:)
