State law would allow hunting from vehicles

http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=34638

A proposed Tennessee wildlife agency rule change to benefit disabled hunters would allow hunting from stationary vehicles on private land.

Assistant enforcement chief Steve Nifong said the proposal on the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Commission agenda for a meeting starting today would not affect the state's existing ban on hunting from public roads and property, and a ban on hunting from moving vehicles.

Nifong said the change would expand an exemption from the ban on hunting from parked all-terrain vehicles or cars or trucks on private property. Currently only people who are "100 percent confined to a wheelchair" are exempt.

He said the change would "allow anyone to hunt from a vehicle" that is parked on private property where the hunter has permission to be.

Kinda reminds me of a Beacon gas station building here. It used to have the words GAS, BEER, and AMMO painted on it's side in 8 foot tall red letters.

By including poor in the title you insinuate that its wrong to shoot animals.

Is it not? Are we right in using animals for our pleasure?

i believe that if you shoot an animal for food, or self defense then ok. but for sport? no.

Of course its not wrong.

It's disgusting, but I believe that people should be able to do as they please if it doesn't hurt another person (animals are not people).

Ah, I see. Sarcasm is hard to translate over the internet.

As long as they use the animals for food, I don't see a problem w/ it. It's a vital part of the environment.

So you support the rights of zoophiliacs to engage in their pursuits, provided that no human beings are harmed?

You know, I think you're the first poster on NS to come out advocating the right to bestiality.

I agree completely. I've hunted for about 10 years now, and I've eaten everything I've killed. Hunting simply to kill things is horribly, terribly wrong.

The real question is whether you support the right of disabled zoophiliacs to engage in their erotic pursuits in their stationary vehicles.

Ted Nugent would agree :p

Heh, if someone killed a deer with a knife or bare hands they certainly earned it. Maybe a law could be passed that you don't need a permit if you kill the deer in hand to hand combat :p

Now you're being silly. And all this talk of beastiality is making me unconfortable. (I don't necessarily support the right of people to have sex with animals, but I do think that the government should keep itself out of the bedroom, or barn in this case.)

i definitely dont believe in beastiality, but i know no matter what you do (protest, enact laws, whatever) it wont stop the freaky minds of some people. so i just accept it for the disgusting habit that it is and go on with my life.
