Hurricane season coming up again. Ready to Rumble?
According to this (http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=scienceNews&storyID=2006-05-25T011229Z_01_N24313604_RTRUKOC_0_US-WEATHER-HURRICANES-FORECAST.xml&pageNumber=0&imageid=&cap=&sz=13&WTModLoc=NewsArt-C1-ArticlePage2), there is ~30% chance of New Orleans being hit by hurricane this year. Will they be ready? Is that horsebreeder ready?

there also was an atricle on CNN a few days ago about how the US atlantic coast is supposed to get 8-10 hurricanes this year.
10-13 named storms in total.

Another year, another round of hurricane prep. This year will be an especial bitch if we get hit because we've done a lot of work to our porch--lots of potted plants and some furniture--and it'll all have to come inside.

No hurricanes, no tornados, no earthquakes, no volcanos, no floods, no droughts.
Hum, the South of Brazil seems to have been forgotten somehow. Good isn't it.

The article just said there would be that many hurricanes. It didn't say where they woudl go. Most just spin off harmlessly across the Atlantic never making landfall. It did warn that statistically the Atlantic coast is due for a big one.
