A traffic stop early Wednesday resulted in the driver being arrested and booked into the Washoe County on 12 charges, Nevada Highway Patrol said.

Steven Wayne Bilderback, 35, of Reno, faces charges of possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI drugs, failure to maintain a travel lane, driving with a suspended license, fictitious registration, no proof of insurance, possession of nunchaku nunchucks and possession of a dangerous weapon, trooper said.

His bail is $8,485.

Troopers said Bilderback's 1988 Jeep was stopped at 1:20 a.m. for failing to maintain a lane on Interstate 80 near Wells Avenue.

A traffic stop early Wednesday resulted in the driver being arrested and booked into the Washoe County on 12 charges, Nevada Highway Patrol said.

Steven Wayne Bilderback, 35, of Reno, faces charges of possessing a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI drugs, failure to maintain a travel lane, driving with a suspended license, fictitious registration, no proof of insurance, possession of nunchaku nunchucks and possession of a dangerous weapon, trooper said.

His bail is $8,485.

Troopers said Bilderback's 1988 Jeep was stopped at 1:20 a.m. for failing to maintain a lane on Interstate 80 near Wells Avenue.
That's the one that busted his ass. And that cop made his month in one stop (assuming they have quotas, which as we all know they don't really). ;)

Well first of all a bunch of thoes are lumped togeather (makes it not QUITE as impressive) (for example if you had drugs and planning to use it) for example possession of drug paraphernilia hyodermic and possition of illegal substance ... )

And second (bolded for wtf)
They have a seperate charge for nuncuks? (seperate from dangerous wepons charges)

Wtf area creates a seperate law for that?

It's easy enough to find out what the "hypodermic devices" were being used for, just test the residue.
Insulin syringes are a pretty unique design that is different from the standard, general purpose syringe.

You can buy needles for diabetic medicines without having to buy the insulin at the same time. Just like you can buy a package of hotdog buns without the hotdogs.

No, I just think it's a bullshit charge. Somewhat like the posession of nunchucks charge.

True, but driving with low blood sugar is just as bad as driving drunk. As a person with diabetes, I am required by law to do a blood test before I drive to make sure that I don't have too much insulin around in my system.

As far as posession of hypodermic needles, goes, however, I think I would be allowed.
