I've been getting bored with what mommy is making for dinner, so I want to make dinner one day.

I don't just want to make something you might have now and again. I want to make a whole.. lets say.. three course meal.

Something to start with, main course, and dessert.

I was thinking maybe lobster or something..

So my question is: do you have any recipes/ideas on what would be nice to make? Oh, and, can you grill lobster?

I like to cook vegitarian when I do, so here is something I made recently:

APPRETIZER
fresh sliced mozerella and tomatos.

Ingrediants:
2 tomatos
1 log/container fresh mozerella
olive oil
basil

slice the mozerella and tomatos to desired thickness, place on top of each other (order doesn't matter) drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle basil.

DINNER
Grilled vegetables with pita and feta cheese

Ingrediants:
3 zucchinis
2 red bell peppers
1 red onion
2 potabello mushrooms
balsamic vinegar
garlic
salt
pepper
basil
cilantro

slice veggies to desired thickness (needs to fit on grill) marinate in sauce for 1 hour, cook five minutes a side. serve in a warm pita sprinkled with feta cheese.

sauce: 2 bottles balsamic vinigar (it takes a lot to cover the veggies), 1 clove of fresh diced garlic, sprinkle basil and cilantro, salt and pepper to tast.

Desert is usually fruit salad, so whatever fruit you like.

no you cant grill lobster

you need to buy lobster while it is alive and put it head first into boiling water.

or you can get it steamed at the store.

dont buy the stuff that is already dead when you buy it. *shudder*

which means that this time of year you can make lobster salad, lobster bisque, lobster fetuccini.

grilling veggies as in the suggestion above and making some kind of frozen fruit dessert might be nice. a fresh strawberry pie would be fabulous if you can be sure that the fresh strawberries you buy taste good. strawberrry pie is easy to make and everyone loves it. (or you can always go with strawberry shortcake)

if i want to make something yummy from scratch it's usually a curry. the best i made was thai red curry with coconut rice. i can't find the recipe i used for the curry paste originally but there's plenty on t'internet. always cook it with a couple of bay leaves tho and use dried red chillies rather than fresh for extra potency. coconut rice is done by half cooking your rice first then draining the water away and replacing the water with light coconut milk. then you boil off the moisture. use about a 1/2 to 3/4 can of coconut milk per person. it is absolutely divine!

1pkg of Bratwurst.
Boil for 30 mins in beer/water.
Take outside to grill for about 15-20 minutes.
Place in bun. There you go.
