Czech Minister slapped by Leader

I've just seen on the Channel 4 news, a brief report on an address the Czech Leader was about to make to the Parliament. He then stopped, said he had something "personal" to do, walked a few feet towards one of his ministers and slapped him on the back of his head.

The Minister sat, stunned for a few minutes, then got up to walk away. After 5 or 6 steps, he stopped, came back to the leader and threw himself at him, punching him repeatedly, then they both fell on the floor, out of the camera view.

Apparently, one of them said about the other that he married into money and thats why he was in politics.

Sorry for the sketchy details but does anyone have any more information on this?

I'm guessing you weren't following Prescott much during the last couple of elections.

It wasn't in parliament, but in a dentist's association meeting!

Well, neither of them actually landed a blow after the initial slap, but it was pretty funny. Thanks for the BBC link, AB Again.

The Czechs are my favorite Slavs. Did you check the photos? They got the whole fight from dope slap to break up. Classic. :D I wonder if the dentists felt like their issues were being ignored or if they just enjoyed the show.

I thought the slappee might have got one in. Or the slapper might have ducked it. Hard to tell. Kind of hard to care, too, though I wish C-Span was even this mildly entertaining.
