The man is an idiot, but in a way we're lucky he's our only opponent. We can't campaign to have him removed and ridiculed; he might be replaced with someone who isn't batshit loco and is actually competent.

He has been trying to get video games banned because they corrupt the youth in America. His career is built in things like suing video games for causing the Columbine shootings, or blaming sniper video games for training the Washington Beltway Sniper. Most of what he says or claims as fact is really bullshit, but it still pisses most of us gamers off.

Bleh. I saw him throw a rant against Brothers in Arms, in which it was obvious he never played the game, watched it being played, or even saw the box. I seem to recall the words 'needless violence'. I'm pretty sure the content of this game is based upon the most needed violence in history.

I served in the military for a long times, and I have played a lot of these games (my son is a bit of a game obsessive) and the likeness between them is minimal at best.

This is terrible! Teenagers with a few technical skills and a bit of searching on the internet can, in Oblivion, unleash the true terror of unfettered polygonal breasts!
The only way of saving their precious eyes and minds is to ban this despicable game, and prevent the likes of this happening again by banning all video games and their future development!

Look I LOVE video games, and...to tell you the truth...this guy sounds fair. I think REALLY violent video games are a major problem in America, and I DO NOT think they should be banned, but I do think parents should be aware of what is in a video game their children are getting if it's "M".

If violent video games are responsible for shooting, I DO NOT think anyone should have to quit them just because a fem pschos get the extra shove they need to kill.

I, myself never play anything over "T"...but that DOES NOT mean no-one else shouldn't, it simlpy means we need a soulution...maybe "edited" versions of games..."T" versions of "M" games for instance.

While I will agree that a 9 year old has no place playing GTA, more often than the shootings which are blamed on violent videogames are bullshit.

They can read what their children are in for on the box... "M - contains blood and puppy death" for example. It's even more clearly labelled than on DVDs and films, you'd have to be wilfully avoiding looking at the ratings to not see them.

Try Deus Ex. That's an M game, and it is actually quite mature. And I tell you now, if you play it you won't regret it, even if it does have *intakes breath* adult themes/issues, or even *is even more shocked* swearing and violence.

A lot of 'M' games are really quite good, you should try them.

Ha remember when he tried to sue PA for making a donation in his name because he wouldn't accept that game someone made about him as his 'modest' propesal?

Or how he blamed games because there was a person who killed themself who visited a Metal Gear Game forum and told everyone before hand. He blamed them because they couldn't stop him. Even though tried it was baiscly impossible because:

A: They had no clue who he really was.
B: Could you call up the police and say. "Some guy online said he's going to kill himself.
C: CNN made up a bunch of crap on how the guy stabbed himself while on a webcam when in reality he poisoned himself and died in the hospital hours later.

Armed with this Mis-Information he went to the site and told them how evil they were and that God or something like that would get them. He was flamed to a well done crisp. People who heard about it from other Forums even went after him, (I think it was even posted here at one time.)
