You are gonna have to help us out on this one. First off, American football, or European (soccer) football? Second, is this a rec league, or high school, or for a University, give us some perameters here. Other than that, I would say go for it, anything athletic you can do can only help you in the long run, and could get you hot sluts in the short run...

I dislike football (soccer), but I have absolutly no tollerance for American Football. I hate that crappy game with a passion. Be smart: play baseball.

Baseball blows. Even soccer is better than that. But football (American) rocks.
