I don't hate people who disagree with me. But if I feel, passionately, that they are wrong, then I will try to destroy their reasoning with resoning of my own. If they fail to listen, then I start to hate them.

Being liberal doesn't mean you love everyone, it just means when you hate, you do it for a good and well-thought-out reason, and you apply that hate on a strictly case-by-case basis.

Disagreeing with someone is not the same as silencing someone. Reasoning with someone is not the same as forcing your views on them.
