Oh come on now. If anyone else had posted what is essentially an advertisement thread it would have been lambasted as such and long ago deleted as against the rules. If anything, that it's Eutrusca that allows the thread to live at all. He's already established a special Eutrusca immunity that allows him to get three day forum bans every couple of months and then go on like nothing happened and yet still complain about mod bias...somewhere Red Arrow is muttering...

In short, because it's Eutrusca it's another rule broke that will merit no more than a shrug.

No fooling, I saw a Bugatti Veyron on the road today. No bullshit, it was going North on 17. At first I thought it was a Lambo but as I got closer there was no mistaking it, it was a Veyron. Unfortunately I was heading southbound and an Elise was coming up on it, so I imagine those two where about to become specks before my lumbering Vanagon had a prayer of catching up.

It was behaving, like a tiger pacing in a cage. I didn't get to see it when the Elise caught up with him, but I could tell from the way the Elise was moving that it was trying to catch up. I have a feeling that it was a magazine ride, Road & Track and Car & Driver do a lot of thier testing up here because the roads are all twisty and well paved. It means that every once in a while something drives by that makes you go, "No fucking way." Like last August when I got passed by the WRC Impreza, again on 17. If it was a journalist I'm sure that when the Elise showed up it was 'on.'

Northern California. I live on the central coast, just below the San Francisco Bay Area. The road to my house is a mecca for motorcyclists (apparently one of the champion riders comes from around here, but I don't know which one) and it connects up to the highway that has Alice's Resturant-not the song one, the motorcycle hangout one. Just up the mountain (and by the shore on the west side) are some loaded motherfuckers who have some great cars as well. (I've been gassing up when a 57 300SL convertable pulled in to fuel up, I've been driving down the street to see a Lamborghini Muira pull up to a window repair place (I almost got that car hit...)) It's great. I'm just outside my door right now with a nice breeze and the shade of the redwoods that surround my house.
