unite or separate
i was having a conversation with a friend of mine the other day and we started talking about evolution etc. anyways he belives that in the future humanity will divide into different species. i however belive we'll breed over time until we all look really similar (I'm talking like a million years from now...assuming we live that long)
like a hairless, uniform mix of all races with the same skin color, and are language is also mixed from all world languages

Anyways, not so sure on the language thing, but a lot of race mixing is to be expected, yeah. We'd end up homogenous before we'd diverge.

I must have stuck a nerve with other players. I was under the impression that most "missing link" finds turned out to be hoaxes. But, I will admit that I've never really looked into much of it myself, so i could be mistaken. Anyways, until I do look into it, I'll continue to be neutral.

...Err...not so much...We'd become homogenous in that most racial features are aesthetic, and we'd end up aestheticly similar. Course it's possible we'll then evolve, but divergent evolution is unlikely. And...uhhh...don't count on X-Men powers showing up...

I don't think the human race will officially separate. Minor evolutionary effects will result in different colours and shapes and whatnot, but it's all classifiable humanity. Though I do think a wider scale of differences will occur between individual people.
What will be even more interesting than biological evolution will be social evolution and how societies themselves grow and develop in the new ages of civilisation and technological development.
