An unorthodox idea on Immigration...

I fail to see why us right-wingers we need to oppose it so vehemently. More people means more production (as long as we force them to work), which means more bombs, tanks, and weapons beind built. In addition, most immigrants coming in are rather poor, and the poor often join the army. Which means we have more people joining the army. With a larger military-industry complex, and a larger standing army, it will allow us to resist Communism from Europe more effectively, especially in the case of an amphibious assault on the East Coast. So immigration is important if we are to resist Communism when Europe finally decides to try to spread their twisted idealogy to the USA.

Why don't we just treat immigrants like any other citizens? If you don't work, you can starve and be homeless. If you don't pay taxes, you don't get any services. We should hold them to the same standards as we SHOULD to American citizens. By that, we increase productivity among both immigrants AND American citizens.

Sure, I've got nothing wrong with scanning out Drug Dealers so we can deal them the proper punishment they deserve, but it's going a tad too far to prevent people who haven't done a crime from entering the country as a productive work-force. (As long as we register them them just like we SHOULD for all American citizens).

And if we run out of living space for everyone, we can simply use Canada as living space for more Americans and American industry. And Mexico would probably be amicable to the idea of that...

Canada has a lot of empty space. It's like Russia, except with even less people and more inhabitable territory.

That's why we should use it as living space. By building factories in places such as Nunavut, we can free up fertile farmland in America for um...farming. Factories don't need fertile ground or anything like it, so build them in Nunavut, and other similiar territories of Canada.

Canada will be a stepping stone for America to find living space for it's people (including immigrants of course), because by using Canada as the place where we put up stuff that takes up space, we free up space in America, thus, providing us with lots of living space, for all Americans.

We can do the same thing to the inhabitable desert of Mexico, and thus, provide the people of America with even MORE living space. And plus, Mexico wouldn't object to being part of America. Look at how many Mexicans want to be Americans. More living space for all Americans (which at that time we would hopefully integrate Mexicans into the national identity of an "American".)

Immigration is helpful, especially when we can seek and gain more living space for the American people.

I oppose illegal immigration because it creates an artificial barrier in the labor market that prevents immigrants from being able to recieve market wage for their work and reduces fair competition between firms for labor resources which decreases economic efficiency.

I also oppose it because it places a burden on services without the corresponding rise in tax income necessary to support it with the result being either higher taxes or reduced quality, or even worse both.

Isnt a foreign invasion force of several millions of people breaking US laws with little or no fear of having to pay for any crimes enough reason to oppose illegal immigration?

Well, if Americans wish to immigrate to Canada and bring their industry with them, they're welcome to. But they won't be Americans living in America anymore, they'll be Canadians, living in Canada. So, I don't really see how that helps the US.

The only one who saw the original post as a clever joke? Building up arms against the Communists from the East? The need for Americans to have "living space?" (Lebensraum)....
