Is George Bush a tool of corporate America?

Cowham

Is George Bush solely/mostly interested in furthering the financial interests of himself and his business associates? Is this at the expense of the American people? If so why is this tolerated? and lastly is Georgey any different to other politicians/presidents in this regard?
Discuss!

That's the goal of every US President.

I seem to recall Clinton and his eager support for companies like Enron and Global Crossing...

Then why do people tolerate it?

No, I reckon it would take him 10,000 days to clean up the mess in the mid east.

Yes, you're just fooling yourself if you think politicians are honest, Cowham.

I'd say that's the goal of pretty much every national leader. Not just the US ones.

Americans vote on emotional hot buttons like abortion and gay marriage. As long as the correct words are said on those issues most (at least 50%) don't give a crap that everything else is being stolen from them.

Yes, as is every American president. Bush may be even more so than the average; I'm not sure. He's certainly less discreet about it.

Technically, aren't we ALL living off of "ancient inheritance" ;) ?

EDIT: Some just inherited a lot more "junk" than others - case of Bush again.

At first I thought that the 10,000 days thing was some kind of Napoleon joke, since it only took him 100 days to reconquour France.

Then I realized the Tool connection.

Then. Then, you guys, you guys, seriously, I tried to figure out how to connect Napoleon and Tool.

I think it's Opiate.

Napoleon though, that guy was nobody's tool.

Suck it Bush.

Bush doesn´t have a slight idea of what he´s doing to this world...he seems like a managed toy. Could anyone look like a tool more than that guy? I really dont think so.... :headbang:

He'd better be interested in furthering the economic interests of America, otherwise he'd be a really sucky pres. And that includes using American troops to protect American economic interests overseas.
