Well, I chose war, cos it scares the heck outta me. I'd probably go with something along the lines of what others have said: loving someone with all your heart, and knowing (or believing you know) that they just... don't love you. Be it outright, through rejection, or subtle suspicions that drive you mad...

Actually, no. What would be worse is watching the person you love most in the world die, especially in a painful way. I imagine that would be unbearable - I desperately hope I never have to experience that.

Got it from Anne McCaffery's "Ship who Searched"

"The hugs you would get if we were there and if we could hug you, but we aren't and we can't."

basically, people with conditions that puts them at a disadvantage in life, can opt to become a brainship. cybernetically attached to a ship. while they loose the use of their bodies, they become a living starship. and Zen Hugs were their way of trying to interact with "Fleshies" since they couldn't physically touch anyone anymore.

Not about stupidity, no worries - i meant that the introduction to the song (from the album, of course) sets the mood for the lyrics - i suspect they weren't included in wherever you procured them from. Sorry, i'll post 'em here ...
Another big news story of the year concerned the ecumenical council in Rome, known as Vatican II. Among the things they did, in an attempt to make the church more... commercial, was to introduce the vernacular into portions of the Mass to replace Latin, and to widen somewhat the range of music permissible in the liturgy. But I feel that if they really want to sell the product in this secular age, what they ought to do is to redo some of the liturgical music in popular song forms. I have a modest example here; it's called The Vatican Rag!

Holds a lot of rain
Love hurts, ooh ooh love hurts

Im young, I know,
But even so
I know a thing, or two
I learned, from you
I really learned a lot,
Really learned a lot
Love is like a flame
It burns you when its hot
Love hurts, ooh ooh love hurts

Some fools think of happiness
Blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves I guess
Theyre not foolin me

I know it isnt true,
I know it isnt true
Love is just a lie,
Made to make you blue
Love hurts, ooh,ooh love hurts
Ooh,ooh love hurts

[guitar solo]

I know it isnt true,
I know it isnt true
Love is just a lie,
Made to make you blue
Love hurts, ooh ooh love hurts
Ooh ooh love hurts
Ooh ooh...

Ahh, that makes somewhat more sense :D
Thankyou.Np. *bows*

But I want to be sigged :(
I think i'm gonna have to make a rotating sig line. Besides, i've got a whole load of email to get through to find the others as it is. :)

Oh, I remembered what my thing that wasn't a car jack was really called: wheel brace. :pHmmm ... ancilla looks better on the line ... ;)

I was walking around
Wearing a chip on my shoulder
It was getting me down
Bein' by myself

You were looking at me
Wondering what was the matter
Neither of us could see
How easy it can be

It's better with a friend
Standin' by your side
Sharin all the good times
There when you laugh or you cry till the end
It's so much better with friends
And your my friend

When there's mountains to move
It's good to shoulders to lean on
We got nothing to prove
How anyone can see

It's better with a friend
Standin' by your side
Sharin all the good times
There when you laugh or you cry till the end
It's so much better with friends
And your my friend
So much better with a friend
RAmen to that! *bows*
